An impressive multi-story adobe building and fortress constructed by pre-Columbian Hohokam Indians. Ironically, the town of Casa Grande is farther away from the national monument and is not on any convenient route to the monument.
Casa Grande Ruins National Monument is a United States national monument preserving a group of Classic Period (1150–1450 CE) Hohokam structures in Coolidge, Arizona, northeast of Casa Grande.
