The only gas station in existence that was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright; it's also the only building from Wright's Broadacre City concept to ever be built. The station is capped by a prominent green copper canopy. The small room on the second floor with windows overlooking the gas pumps was originally intended to be a waiting area.
The R. W. Lindholm Service Station is a service station designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in Cloquet, Minnesota, United States. Built in 1958 and still in use, it is the only Wright–designed gas station built during his lifetime. It was originally part of Wright's utopian Broadacre City plan and is one of the few designs from that plan that was actually implemented. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
