An art museum located in a historic stone mill, Dunham's Mill, by the South Branch Raritan River.
The Hunterdon Art Museum, previously known as the Hunterdon Art Center and the Hunterdon Museum of Art, is located in a historic stone mill at 7 Lower Center Street in Clinton, New Jersey. It was founded in 1952 when it purchased Dunham's Mill, the Stone Mill, for use as an art museum. The museum emphasizes that it is a "center for art, craft & design" and presents exhibitions featuring both local and national artists. The stone mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for its significance in commerce and industry.

The Red Mill is an old historic site/museum and was built sometime around 1810. It is located on the bank of South Branch-Raritan River. The mill was a major factor to the early development and expansion of the township. Today the Mill houses a large portion of the Museum’s collection. Each floor tells a small part of the history of this building and its ever changing role within the Clinton Community. The mill also hosts many events throughout the year such as music festivals and the Red Mill Haunted Village each October...see below in the “Do” section.
