Chesapeake City is a town of 736 people (2020) in the Eastern Shore of Maryland, on the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. The town has many old homes from the early 19th century that have been converted into bed and breakfasts, restaurants and the local historical museum.

The museum is in a pump house used for the canal, with a replica Bethel Bridge lighthouse nearby.
The Chase N' Dreams and other boats, all covered, provide a sightseeing experience.

The restaurant serves seafood and locally inspired dishes, such as the Eastern Shore Bruschetta. It also offers a cottage to stay in next door.
