Castaic Lake is one of the few recreational lakes in Los Angeles County and offers many types of recreational fun, including boating, waterskiing, fishing, camping, and during summer months, the lower lake offers swimming.

Castaic Lake is a reservoir formed by Castaic Dam on Castaic Creek, in the Sierra Pelona Mountains of northwestern Los Angeles County, California, United States, near the town of Castaic.
