Broomfield is a combined city and county of about 77,000 in the Denver Metropolitan Area of the western U.S. state of Colorado. Broomfield lies 14 mi northwest of Denver and 12 mi southeast of Boulder. The only other combined city and county in Colorado is the City and County of Denver, the state capital.
