The museum has several historical military aircraft from the 1930s through the 1960s, and also two tanks and a machine gun. It is also possible for a membership donation of $320 to have a simulated experience of being involved in the D-Day landing in Normandy, as you are briefed as if you are about to take part in the mission and then flown on a C-47 that participated in the actual operation.
The American Airpower Museum is an aviation museum located on the former site of Republic Aviation at Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, New York. It maintains a collection of aviation artifacts and an array of aircraft spanning the many years of the aircraft factory's history.

The Town of Babylon has three beaches on the eastern half of Jones Beach Island: Gligo Beach, Cedar Beach, and Overlook Beach. Residents need a season recreation permit, while non-residents must purchase a daily permit. Overlook Beach is residents-only.
An undeveloped park accessible only by 4 wheel drive only. Requires a permit.
Oak Beach Park
A small waterfront park. It is mainly lawn and has about 200 feet of sandy beach and a pier, but it is free. Site of the former Oak Beach Inn, reputed to be the birthplace of the Long Island iced tea.
