Avalon is a resort town of 1,200 people (2021) in Cape May County, New Jersey. It is on a Seven Mile Island and shares this area with a neighboring town Stone Harbor.
Circle Pizza is owned and operated by the Buchanans, descendants of Avalon's original pizza family headed by patriarch Mario Vozzella. Mario’s two daughters, Eleonora and Camilla, along with their husbands, Paul Buchanan and Joseph Damiri opened Avalon Pizza on 23rd and Ocean Drive in 1968.
Avalon's very easy to reach by car. Either take the Garden State Parkway or use Route 55 and 47 to avoid traffic coming into Ocean City and Sea Isle City.
