Alden is in Erie County in Western New York.

It is a nice place to walk around and relax, and it hosts "Winterfest" in early February and a carnival in June. Not to be confused with Robert O. Smith Park half a mile down the road and the town square.
By plane
The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is the main airport in the region.
By train
West of Alden is the Buffalo-Depew train station.
US Route 20 (Broadway) is the main road through the village of Alden. Most roads in the village have sidewalks.
