Coastal village in Pembrokeshire, Wales

Newgale (Welsh: Niwgwl) is a village with a three mile stretch of beach in the parish of Roch, Pembrokeshire. The beach is situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and has rugged coastal scenery with the path winding up and down the cliffs.

At low tide, take a walk north along the beach to a secluded cove.
On a low tide the submerged forest and petrified wood is uncovered, especially at the south end of the beach.

Upscale hotel in 12th century castle with modern stylish fittings. Hotel is B&B, and they shuttle you to Twr y Felin Hotel for dinner. No children under 12 or dogs.
Convenient beach shop, also sells ice creams & souvenirs.
By bus
411 Haverfordwest - St Davids – Fishguard, stopping at coastal towns and villages including Newgale.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path along Newgale beach, from Broadhaven to the south and St Davids to the North. Access to the beach is over the pebble berm.
