Collection of standard-gauge locomotives (occasionally in steam) and rolling stock that served the Fife coalfields in the 20th century. These trundle up and down a short length of track and don't have a mainline connection, although the restored railway to Leven passes close by.
Fife Heritage Railway is a heritage railway run by The Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society, formed in 1992, which aims to showcase the heritage of the railways of Fife and restore locomotives and rolling stock that once worked in Fife. They are based in Levenmouth, Scotland which has been their base since 2003.

is on the coast at East Wemyss, midway between Leven and Kirkcaldy. It was founded by the 11th century Macduff (oppressed by Macbeth in the play) but the present building is a 14th-century tower house, once home to the Wemyss family. It's utterly tumbledown and fenced off as unsafe.
East Wemyss has 11 caves, several containing Pictish carvings. The volunteer run Save Wemyss Ancient Caves Society run a visitor centre and occasional tours of the caves. Tours are the only way of seeing the gated areas of the caves, but the entrances can be seem at other times.
