A 3-mile (5-km), former industrial railway that was laid in 1919 to transport sand. Today it is run as a heritage line offering trips for visitors from Page's Park to Stonehenge Works and back in 85 minutes. The line runs mostly through modern housing built since the 1970s, although the last half mile runs through countryside. It is one of the last surviving 2-ft gauge railways. (The standard gauge in the UK is 4 ft 8½ in. The Page's Park station and two coaches are accessible for people who use wheelchairs.
The Leighton Buzzard Light Railway (LBLR) is a light railway in Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, England. It operates on 2 ft narrow-gauge track and is just over 3 miles (4.8 km) long. The line was built after the First World War to serve sand quarries north of the town. In the late 1960s the quarries switched to road transport and the railway was taken over by volunteers, who now run the line as a heritage railway.

Great for a family day out whether its rain or shine! There are plenty of animals to see from goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ducks and horses, both inside and outside. You can also watch a sheepdog demonstration, play crazy golf, race round on go-karts or head to Shaggy's PlayWorld for a snack and tumble around the child-friendly activities. Or why not cuddle rabbits and guinea pigs, bottle-feed lambs, groom horses or go on a tractor ride at pre-arranged times. It really is a brilliant and varied day out for all the family.
