Held every summer since 1839 (except during the two world wars and in 2020 due to Covid-19), the Royal Regatta is a unique five-day tournament of international rowing that draws top competitors and spectators from around the world.
Henley Royal Regatta is a British rowing event held annually on the River Thames by the Oxfordshire town of Henley-on-Thames. It was established on 26 March 1839. It differs from the three other regattas rowed over approximately the same course, Henley Women's Regatta, Henley Masters Regatta, and Henley Town and Visitors' Regatta, each of which is an entirely separate event.
