From Kampala
From Kampala, travel east through Jinja and Mbale, then continue toward Kumi on the Mbale–Soroti road.
From Mbale
Buses, minibuses and shared taxis operate from Mbale toward Kumi and Soroti. From Kumi, transfer to local transport for Nyero.
From Soroti
Travel south-east from Soroti toward Kumi. Leave the main highway in Kumi or arrange for the driver to continue toward the Kumi–Ngora road.
By public transport
Public vehicles do not provide dependable door-to-door service to the heritage-site entrance. The most practical approach is to travel to Kumi or Ngora and then hire a boda-boda or taxi.
The rock-art complex is explored entirely on foot. A guide leads visitors between the principal shelters and explains the recorded archaeological information and local traditions.
