The Sea Turtle Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre guards the nesting areas, nurses injured turtles, and monitors their populations. It also does research about the population, nesting sites (including depth, temperature, number of eggs and if the female was tagged before), injuries and autopsy/necropsy for cause of death in an area of 100km wide
Injured turtles come from the whole coastline of the Turkish Mediterranean sea.
