This lotus bud shaped chedi (stupa) is just south of the north gate (Sanluang). There is no stone inscription and nothing mush is known about the history of the temple. Wat Son Khao might have been part of the Wat Sorasak. It was restored in 1965 by the Fine Arts Department.
