The Southern Andaman Coast is a popular beachside region in Southern Thailand.
Trang is a good connecting hub to the island. It has an airport with multiple flights from and to Bangkok. An overnight sleeper train from Bangkok to Trang takes around 13 hours. Long-distance buses are also available.

Ko Tarutao is the largest of the 51 islands in the Tarutao National Marine Park archipelago in the Southern Andaman Coast of Southern Thailand, in Satun Province. The entirety of the island is a national park, and it is usually open to the public from November to May.
