Toucheng (頭城; Tóu'chéng), also Tou-Cheng, is a township in northern Yilan County.

頭城老街
A street featuring a number of houses of different architectural styles, from different periods stretching back to the Qing dynasty. They show a snapshot of Toucheng's history.
舊草嶺隧道南下資訊站
A converted railway tunnel that has been converted into a cycleway connecting Toucheng Township to Gongliao District, New Taipei City. The tunnel is 2.167 km in length.
軍事坑道
A historical relic from the period when Guishan Island was under military control. The tunnel is 800 meters long and stays pleasantly cool inside.
蜜月灣
Famous site that you will approach when you first enter Toucheng township. It offers surfing and it has national surfing competitions annually. Honeymoon Bay has a great view of Turtle island. The name "Honeymoon Bay" refers to the many couples that can be seen walking along this stretch of coast.
梗枋西南海濱景觀區
A scenic coastal area offering open sea views, rocky shorelines, and coastal walking paths. It is especially popular at sunset and provides a peaceful place to enjoy the ocean landscape.
外澳岩堵
Wai'ao Rock Reef is a dramatic stretch of rocky coastline, known for its volcanic rock formations and ocean views. The area is ideal for seaside walks, photography, and wave watching, with easy access from the main coastal road.
401高地
The highest point on Guishan Island, at an elevation of 398 meters, with a 3-meter-high bunker at the top. It takes about an hour to reach the summit via the hiking trail. Advance registration is required to access the summit.
頭城大坑里協天宮關聖帝君
A historic Taoist temple dedicated to Guan Yu, known for its traditional architecture and role as a local center of worship. Visitors can observe daily rituals and enjoy a quiet, atmospheric stop while exploring Toucheng.

Toucheng has seven rail stations, more than any other townships in Taiwan. is the only station in Toucheng where you can catch a Tze-Chiang Limited Express train.
By bus
Several intercity bus companies operate services between Taipei and northeastern Taiwan, providing access to Toucheng.
Rent bicycles
Bicycle rental stations are usually concentrated around Toucheng Station.
Heading to Guishan Island
Every year from March 1 to November 30, is open to visitors. The easiest way to visit the island is to have a travel agency handle the island entry application process for you.
