The parish church is of Romanesque construction from the 11th century, although a precept of King Charles the Simple from the year 899 mentions an initial temple dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint John. During the 17th and 18th centuries, there were reforms that mainly affected the entrance door and the side chapels, which were joined to the original structure.
