resting place and oratory of the Carthusian monks. The construction was promoted by the Bishop of Urgell, monk and prior of the monastery. Initially, the chapel served the purpose of serving as a rest house and oratory for Catalan prelates. In the oratory there was an image of the Pietà which was the origin of the name given to the complex. It seems that it was converted into a farm and hermitage and that with the confiscation it became private property. It has been abandoned.
