San Millán de la Cogolla is a village of 220 people (2018) in La Rioja famous for its twin monasteries, Yuso and Suso, which were declared a World Heritage Site in 1997.

Monasterio de Yuso
The guided visit takes 50 minutes. There is a free parking lot.
Monasterio de Suso
The guided visit takes 40 minutes and the access by private car to the monastery is restricted. There is a free shuttle bus leaving every half an hour from Yuso Monastery during visiting hours.
By car
From Logroño you must take the Autovía A-12 heading to Burgos and leave it at the exit 21 Nájera.
