is one of the most emblematic medieval towers in Peratallada, forming part of the village’s historic defensive system between the 13th and 15th centuries. Originally flanked on three sides by a rock-cut moat, it was pierced by loopholes arranged on several combat levels and crowned by a terrace with battlements. Over the centuries the tower was modified, including the opening of new doors and the later installation of a monumental clock that gave it its name. A careful restoration completed in 2021 stabilised the structure, recovered the interior spaces and made it visitable, with a viewpoint at the top offering sweeping views over Peratallada and the Empordà plain
Main square with 16th-century arched porticos under stone houses, cafes and views of the castle. Lively heart of the village.
