This museum hosts the contemporary art collection of the Community of Madrid. The modern building was inaugurated in 2008 following a thorough refurbishment of the historical building that preserved the façade of a 19th-century building. It includes exhibition halls, a library, a roof terrace, an assembly hall and other spaces designed to host a wide range of activities, from film screenings to an urban horticultural garden workshop.
