It has a length of 361 m and an average width of 24 m, with very coarse sand and a very steep entrance to the water. It is flanked along its entire length by the tree-lined promenade, in which there are restaurants, bars and other shops, and a Tourist office. It has showers, toilets, surveillance, daily cleaning, a Red Cross point and, in the summer months, a tent that acts as a public library.
