Is one of the most traditional livestock fairs in the Catalan Pyrenees, held every year on 13 October, the feast of Saint Eduard. The event takes place in Espinavell, a small mountain village in the municipality of Molló, and attracts visitors from across the Vall de Camprodon and beyond. Its main attraction is the arrival of more than 300 head of horses from nearby mountain pastures, brought down by local breeders for inspection and sale. In the afternoon, the “tria” (selection in catalan) takes place, when foals are separated from the mares, marking the practical end of the summer grazing season. Beyond its agricultural role, the fair is also a popular cultural event, with a strong festive atmosphere and a vivid display of Pyrenean rural heritage.
