The Cape of Good Hope is located about 2 km to the west of Cape Point and is at the south-westerly tip of Africa. Access to the headland and to the associated Dias Beach is from footpaths from the road to Cape Point. There are strong ocean currents in the vicinity of both the headland and the beach and swimming is dangerous.
