Ruardova graščina
Built in 1538 as one of the "ironworks castles"; residences of the tycoons of the iron mining and processing industry. Since 1954 the building has housed exhibitions of the region's iron and steel heritage, minerals and palaeontological discoveries.
Kosova graščina
Another "ironwork castle", from 1521. Functions as a museum showcasing the resistance against the German occupation during WWII. The upper floor is a hall for cultural events.
Delavska kasarna
An ethnographic museum, originally a housing complex for iron industry workers.
A picturesque mountain on the border, known for having its slopes covered in Narcissus flowers in the spring, and views of Julian Alps.
Guesthouse and restaurant.
A small mall centered around a Spar hypermarket.
By train
Jesenice is also on the railway between Villach and Ljubljana. It is the first railway stop on the Slovenian side.
