Zobor
A pleasant walk through the forest will take you to your destination in approximately 50 minutes, if you start at the Zobor monastery (hospital). The educational trail along the way introduces visitors to parts of the original fortifications. The torso of the millennium monument on the Pyramid is the most famous Zobor monument, located under the very top.

Built in 1820 by Vavrinec Dunajský. The statue is named after the legendary figure of the Nitra blacksmith with enormous strength. The legend says he helped repel the first Turkish attack Nitra Castle, when it seemed that they would conquer it. With the help of heavy boulders and his massive figure, he scared the Turks away.
