The road to Sealine Beach Resort is lined with low sand dunes which are popular with ATV enthusiasts. Vehicles can be rented from any of the many tents lining the road.
Inland Sea
Located in the south-eastern corner of the country on the Saudi Arabian border, some way south of Mesaieed, is the Inland Sea, known as Khor Al Daid in Arabic. It is an enormous inlet from the Arabian Gulf surrounded by massive soft sand dunes that can only be reached by a hair-raising drive across the sand in a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Tourists and locals alike enjoy racing up and down the seemingly endless sand dunes. There are a variety of tourism companies that will give you a guided tour of the region, often complete with a traditional Arab meal and campfire.
This 18m-deep artificial reef is made of old vehicles, boats, and industrial debris, and was a popular dive site.
It has been closed to general public since 2017.
