Pałac w Sztynorcie
The old German castle can only be viewed from the outside as it has deteriorated over time. Renovation work has begun to turn it into a conference centre. The greatest treasure of the dilapidated building were the painted and carved baroque wooden ceilings in the middle section.
The place is a bit off the road from Olsztyn to Węgorzewo on a peninsula in the Mauersee.
