A palace more than a castle, today a museum. The museum has about 80% of the original interior furnishings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The castle's interior and furnishings have been meticulously recreated based on historical research results. Music concerts are held in the summer, both in the castle halls and outdoors. The palace is sometimes called Princess Daisy's Palace, referring to Daisy, Princess of Pless, who used to live there a century ago. Her bench stands in front of the castle gate.
Pszczyna Castle is a classical-style palace in the town of Pszczyna in southern Poland. Constructed as a castle in 13th century or earlier, in a Gothic architectural style, it was rebuilt in a Renaissance style in the 17th century. During the course of the 18th and 19th centuries, the exterior of the castle was partially changed into a Baroque-Classical style. The Classicist modernization transformed the complex into what is usually described a palace.
