The town's annual festival, coinciding with the anniversary of its foundation and named after a portmanteau of three items associated with Tanza made with paper mache: Lobo (balloon), Higante (giant), and Toro (bull).
Tanza Church
Tanza's main Roman Catholic church, built in the Spanish era and dedicated to the town's two patron saints, the Holy Cross, of which a side altar displays a crucifix in which Emilio Aguinaldo swore an oath as leader of the Philippine revolutionary government in 1897, and Saint Augustine of Hippo, in which another side altar displays a venerated sculpture of the saint, known fondly by locals as Tata Usteng, and said to be miraculous and frequently “roams around” on its own around Tanza. The convent hosts a small ecclesiastical museum.
One of a few surviving friar estate houses from the Spanish era.
