A river cruise lasts about 90 minutes. In addition to a buffet lunch, the cruise will dock alongside stations on the river that feature ethnic dance and music performances. On-board, a prevalent scam features a photographer offering "free photographs." However, despite using simple point-and-shoot or outdated DSLR cameras, the act of taking the photo is the only free aspect; the emailed JPEG alone starts at ₱2000 without haggling and you may not be permitted to leave without agreeing on a price.
