A monument dedicated to the victims of Typhoon Durian ("Reming") in 2006, which destroyed parts of the city. The location is right beside the highway. There are no parking spaces available except for the highway's shoulder. Visitors should take extra precaution alighting from their vehicles as there are lots of fast moving vehicles on the highway. There are no trees at all to hide under when the sun gets too hot or any covered areas should it rain.
