Housed on a concrete dome structure. This bronze bell was a gift from the Americans (the 158th Infantry Regimental Combat team of the US 6th Army) command led by Brig. General Hanford Macnider and Captain Hoomer Mcgee) in 1945 after the liberation of the city from the Japanese occupiers. A side note within is inscribed "Whenever oppression knocks at your door, feel free to ring this bell".
