Torre ti Bacarra
Bacarra church's belltower was built during the Spanish era. Over the years it gradually tilted on its side due to earthquakes and its location on an alluvial plain with soft ground. In 1983, the church's dome collapsed in an earthquake, giving its current decapitated-like appearance. Despite this, the tower was declared a national cultural treasure in 1973.
