Monkey islands, big cat enclosures, a large walk through aviary, penguin pools with underwater windows and bridges above. For an extra S/3 (children S/2) walk through the time tunnel to the land of dinosaurs.
The Dead City of Cajamarquilla, Complejo Arqueológico de Cajamarquilla
A pre-Hispanic city covering an area of 6 km². Cajamarquilla is considered to be the second largest adobe city in Peru. The surrounding area is industrial, dusty and dirty. The site is littered with garbage. There is a security guard on a motorbike onsite for your safety and the safety of the ruins. A central plaza has been restored and excavations are taking place around the site. There are hundreds of crumbling walls, rooms, doorways, enough to keep you occupied for quite some time. Located 10km east of Lima, just off Carretera Central. It is about 5 km north from el Parque Zoológico de Huachipa. If travelling by bus take the Luringancho bus or the Ate Vitarta and then change buses. Tours can be organised from Ate Vitarte
