Hove kyrkje
Built c. 1170. It is the only Romanesque church in Sogn og Fjordane. Hove Church is probably the oldest stone church in Sogn og Fjordane. The church was built around 1170 by an unknown builder, probably a wealthy man with a seat in Vik. The church was built of soapstone that was quarried in Arnafjord and transported by boat and sled to the construction site. The building is maintained by National Trust of Norway (the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments).
Hopperstad stavkirke
Built c. 1140, it is a stave church with a raised central nave. The church's most striking feature is a ciborium or canopy on the northern side altar, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It dates from the 14th century. The building is owned and maintained by National Trust of Norway (the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments).
Vik kirke
Built in 1877, the building is made of timber. It is the main church for the municipality.
Main road 13 runs through Vikafjellet mountain pass with wonderful panoramas to Vikøyri village and Sognefjord. Occasionally closed in winter.
The village lies along Norwegian National Road 13 which leads north to the ferry to Balestrand and south to the village of Vossevangen.
