Evje is an inland town in South Norway. It's a very small roadstrip town with not much interest in itself, especially when it packs up with tourists in the summer. But it's a good place to stop to get equipment and supplies, and north of town there's whitewater rafting. Further up Setesdal you can find beautiful areas both down in the valley and up in the hills.

Located in the town center has 12 rooms, they are a bit dated, but this is reflected in the price. There's an à la carte restaurant of good quality on site.
Located 7 km north of Evje, with various cabins and possibility for camping. Has several activities on site.
By car
Usually you arrive in Evje by car from Kristiansand. If you drive from Oslo, take road 9 from Arendal. If you arrive from Stavanger, the quickest is to go around through Kristiansand.
