Sinchon is the site of a massacre of civilians which is blamed on the Americans by the North Korean government (Historians outside North Korea believe the massacre was propagated by both pro and anti communist vigilantes at the time). Expect a fairly one sided view of history.
The Sinchon Museum of American War Atrocities is a museum dedicated to the Sinchon Massacre, a massacre of North Korean civilians during the Korean War by South Korean and US troops. The museum is located in Sinchon County of North Korea. In July 2015, the museum was rebuilt and moved to a new location in the country.
