For seven days before the festival, young men go hunting, carry their animals and dance around on the day of Ovwuvwe Festival. Blessing is received from the females at Abraka Inland with the chewing of native white chalk (orhe).
The only horseback riding leisure club in Nigeria where international polo tournament takes place annually during Easter. Abraka Turf and Country Club is bordered by the River Ethiope and surrounded by a tropical rainforest.
