Typical Namibian menu: meat, salad, pizza. The pizza is not good but the restaurant has an interesting interior.
Chalets, rooms, the solitary Geisterschlucht Cabin, and a camp site with 8 spots. Curio shop, bar and restaurant, swimming pool, rock garden with samples of the local flora if you cannot be bothered to hike. Well-maintained facilities, friendly and competent staff. Hiking and mountain biking trails (several distances and difficulties) are nicely maintained and signposted. During the wildflower bloom there is a guided tour by car, but several really spectacular places can be reached on foot, and even the camp site is in the midst of a flower field. However, only in August will you see anything but barren rock. At that time the area has sub-zero night temperatures, consider whether you have the right camping equipment for such conditions.
The settlement is situated on the B4, 230 km west of Keetmanshoop and 125 km east of Lüderitz.
