On top of Canada Hill. More prosaically Miri's No. 1 Oil Well , this was Shell's first oil well (the company's, that is, not just in Malaysia) and has now been declared a national monument. The museum is closed on Mondays.

Express Bus Terminal, is about 4 km south east from the city centre.
Local bus services are available in front of Wisma Pelita Tunku. Available route are Permyjaya, Tudan, Senadin, Taman Tunku, Hospital, RTM (Pujut Corner to Pujut 5) and Sungai Rait+Bakam.
