The Ringlet to Sungai Koyan road is a particular picturesque mountain road, which starts with countless greenhouses and quickly changes into rainforest covered hills of immense beauty and colour, which form to be gradles for soft fog clouds being trapped among them.
Bertam Valley is an agricultural-based village in southern Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia, located close to the town of Ringlet. The entry to the village is located at Ringlet. On one side of the village is the Ulu Jelai Power Station, on the headwaters of the Jelai River, a left tributary of the Pahang River.

Operated by Malaysia's largest tea company. Tours available of tea factory. Interactive educational studio, a retail outlet, and a nice cafe. Stunning vistas of rolling hills amidst a carefully tendered tea plantation. The drive up the hill can be very narrow at stages, so caution should be shown when driving up. The view from the top of nearby hill at the plantation is well worth the effort of climbing up.
Second largest producer of tea in Malaysia. You can walk around the plantations and take photos. There is a cafe from where you can have a breathtaking view of the tea plantation.
very tough
Very difficult trail (climb?) until it merges with trail 3 and 7 to the summit of Gunung Berembun.
The falls are a short distance from Tanah Rata. It can be reached via Path 9. (See section. #Stay Safe for trail 9.)
moderate
This trail is not recommended as robberies have been reported in 2016 (stopped apparently in 2017?) See #Stay Safe for more information.
Agro-technology Park
Research and educational center. Mardi is home to 40 varieties of roses, 10 strawberries, 100 citrus fruits and exhibits a rich collection of hydroponic technique for agriculture. There are a couple of cafes inside. Trail 5 starts here.
