The daytripper fee gives you access to three different onsen, however, they have different hours of operation, so pay attention to their hours. The Kogane no Yu (黄金の湯) open from 09:00-17:00 located in the Honkan features 2 indoor baths of different temperatures. There are large glass panels with views of the sea. The Furofushi no Yu (不老ふ死の湯) located in the Shinkan has the most facilities, with a sauna, cold baths, and indoor onsen as well as an open-air outdoor onsen with a full, unobstructed view of the Sea of Japan. The Umibe no Rotemburo (海辺の露天風呂) open from 09:00-16:00 is a fully open-air onsen located right by the Sea of Japan. Pictures of Furofushi Onsen nearly always feature this onsen with its caramel-brown color contrasting the blue of the sea and sky beyond it. This bath features women-only and mixed-sex baths. There are special bathing suits for women available for ¥400 (free for staying guests) for use in these baths. All of the waters of Furofushi Onsen are iron springs. It is said that the water here is particularly good for healing cuts and wounds, as well as being good for the skin. The information here is for daytrippers.
