It began in the 13th century but was rebuilt in the late 19th century. Inside are two important works of art, the Gonfalone (a long flag) by Bonfigli (1472) and the Assunta by Perugino (1513). In the church there are also two works by the priest-painter Guerriero Giappesi , who lived in the first decades of the 20th century: a fresco with the Archangel Michael at the altar of the Sacred Heart, from 1929, and another with the Baptism of Christ at the baptismal font, from 1931.
It is a Gothic church that contains several works of art, including a crucifix from the 5th century. It was built at the end of the 13th century. Inside there are fragments of frescoes dating back to a period between the 13th and 15th centuries and some works of art from other places: among others, a panel with the Madonna and Child with Saints by Orlando Merlini, a Saint Sebastian, a wooden sculpture by Francesco di Simone Ferrucci from 1482, and from the church of Sant'Agostino in Perugia, a canvas with the Madonna and Child between Saints Anna, Francis and Helen by Benedetto Bandiera from 1606, and a damaged canvas, by Giovanni Antonio Scaramuccia with the Madonna and Child, angels and saints.
The Palazzo Municipale, today the seat of the government of the Commune of Corciano, was constructed in the 16th century by the dukes of the Della Corgna family to consolidate Perugia's power over the formerly independent city. Some rooms are open to the public and include 16th century frescoed ceilings.
