Skylletion was a city of Magna Grecia. It bears witness to the presence in Calabria first of the Greeks and then of the Romans. Squillace, the city that gave birth to Cassiodoro, preserves the imposing ruins of the Forum, the Basilica, the Baths and the Theat.
