A 15th or 16th century church, with a Renaissance façade and a single nave interior. The church of the Santissimo Rosario houses silk fabrics made between 1500 and 1800, including the Pianeta of the Borgia, a sacred vestment ordered by Pope Alexander VI on the occasion of the wedding between Goffredo Borgia and Donna Sancia D'Aragona, who became Princess of Squillace.
Piazza Matteotti
Skylletion was a city of Magna Grecia. It bears witness to the presence in Calabria first of the Greeks and then of the Romans. Squillace, the city that gave birth to Cassiodoro, preserves the imposing ruins of the Forum, the Basilica, the Baths and the Theat.
