Inside the walls of the castle is the ancient church with some 14th-century frescoes.
castello Malaspina
The castle is built by Malaspina family in the 12th century on the top of the Serravalle hill.
Built between 1062 and 1073. Its ornate façade dates to the last quarter of the 13th century; its interior though looks rather Spartan. Restored in 1938 to its original appearance.
