This is dedicated to Santa Maria and is in Romanesque style, being mainly constructed at the end of the 11th century. The crypt has interesting frescoes covering all the walls and ceiling. These are considered some of the best examples of Byzantine art in Italy.
Anagni is about 60km south of Rome on the A1 highway. There is a train station, however, it is some distance from the town.
